COMMUNITY POLICING

Policing is a Pre-Historic concept. Every family is doing policing directly or indirectly to ensure security of their families. In the civilized community, policing is for internal security to prevent and detect crimes, while Military is for external security of the country. Colonial Policing was to favour the foreign government ruling India. Laws enacted during Colonial Rule are sill being adopted with minor amendments, ignoring democracy and the present welfare policy of our country. Democracy is not to violate the rule of the land.

Policing is a Human Concept as Police men comes from the Society. This research is to ascertain new methods to reform policing in view of Growing lack of faith and trust within the Human Community. Apart from this, man-power for Policing is not proportionate to the population and country is in financial constrains to raise its strength.

Inviting the social participation in Policing is Community Policing. It was developed long back but not gained its strength due to Moral Constrain within Social Civic Concept. Everyone in the Society have to import social civic consciousness with positive thoughts as “To error is human”.

Fear on punishment is slowly vanishing demoralizing our social status by pointing the blame on others hunting for easy money, pleasure, gain by developing groupism, egoism, favoritism expressing various modes of compromise to the best of their efficiency and professionalism irrespectively by ignoring social ethics and moral values.

Hence this research hunts way to cure the above infections / virus within the human society and its periodical updation and upgradation to build our faithful society under social policing or Community Policing.
